2 You sent another good letter today, laddie. I hope you can realize a little bit how much your letters mean to me. There are letters to read from other people sometimes, but none of any importance compared to yours and none give me such a good feeling inside. Anything that you can figure out for a furlough will please me. When you decide things you don't have to worry about what I'll think. I love you and I know you do me. So, if either of us decides things we never have to be suspicious of a bad motive. If the partner feels some other way we can try to work it out; but no distrust of the person is in the picture at all. Isn't that the way you think of our lives together?
