3 I'll do housework maybe tonight and tomorrow Mrs. Mc. Giverin is coming tomorrow to iron and do other stuff. I want to have my time free and still have my work in shape in case you get to come. Office work went swell today. I was swamped but stuff rolled along well and no one was jawing to get more out. They seemed to realize we were all putting out all the work we could. The biggest surprise of the day was the adjustment of my salary. Now I'm reinstated at my proper scale, $120.00 plus the general 5% increase. So I've got 126.00 per month now as the rate for all the work since I went back this fall. That's fair and right but much better than I ever expected. I've been absent every
