gas ration I'll not go very often to the PO at night. I'll save gas so I can always go down if I have a letter to hurry off. Otherwise I'll write in the evening and mail it every morning. You tell me if that seems to be a lot slower because I could get a letter ready before 6:45 each evening and mail it here in the drug store or the corner box. You were certainly right about the gas lasting. I think it was practically empty, but I got to Piersalls OK. I wasn't afraid as you had decided it and it was still day light; if I had run out it wouldn't be hard in day time to get gas. I'm glad to get the gas from Mr Piersall whenever possible as he certainly has helped us out. I have the news cast on now. All this activity is good to keep
