Saving...
and I don't think you doubt mine such a partnership and companionship as we have is indeed to be cherished and cultivated. The kids may wonder what we find to say in letters, but they don't know the much expanding of love and understanding between mates who care. When you say my name to others it is good to hear you. And when you talk to me, well I'd rather listen to you than anyone else in the world. We have health and jobs and money, but it is love, understanding a trust that make our lives so rich. They are things no one can take from us and we can't lose them if we care and value them And we care, so they will always be ours. I think we'll end our lives together in quiet peace time pursuits. But if we are to live and go otherwise, it will still be together in thought and love and spirit. That will make each of us strong to face life for whatever it brings. And we can in this spirit have joy. Nothing but something like war could ever separate us in this life even physically, and even then in spirit we aren't apart. I'm seeming to just be saying back to you the things you wrote to me. But its good we both feel that way and can second all ideas! Now I'll have to hurry to get this out as Aunt Min called and cut into my time. She sent her greetings. Maybe I'll have another letter ready to mail in the morning. To my perfect love and trusted one, Laura.
