Sunday Dearest, It was hard for a while this morning and a while this afternoon to be tough. But I made it OK, and finally real good. I went to Cong. and sat about where the wack did last week. I certainly thought of you. I was so glad you had shared that experience with me. It seemed one more place then that we had something in common. This afternoon Earl borrowed the vac. sweeper to clean his furniture before he moves it. Hazel had a big dinner for 14 to get. Then I made some ice box cookie dough and put it out to set for a time. Then Leone and Jack and I went to Coe Christmas Vespers. After that had a lunch and spent the evening at their place. Just got home at eleven o'clock. I've fixed the fire and when it is going better I'll go to bed. It was 5 below at 7:30 (when I got up) this morn. Guess it did get as low as 10 below in the night. It is about zero now so you see we are having old Iowa weather now. I'm glad you don't have to do night problems in conditions like this. That is not a proper paragraph as I ran everything together, but you get a quick picture of the day. And you see I came out fine. It sure is tough to have you away, but so good to think of all of [12-13-42]
