3 I wouldn't want to do it unless you thought it would be nice and would like us to do it each year. Tell me what you think. Then I'll keep my eye our to buy the "right" red candle if you like the idea. We have a lot of ideas we must share and harmonize on lots of subjects. We will have time some day in person and until then by mail. Like you, I'm pleased to read the letter to find we have the similar view of so many things. And tolerance and a desire to understand the other one are always present even when we hold different views. If you were here now I believe we'd have a good discussion of the spirit of Christmas. Your kindness and helpfulness have often reminded me of the Christmas spirit, (even in mid summer!) I don't think either of us has many set formal ideas of Christmas as a theology but it is meaningful enough to us to show in our conduct. And that is what is really important.
