Saving...
last letter got translated before you wrote another one. What do you think, laddie? Do I have the right idea? I know you'll never mention this to George and I wrote this to you only because I'd certainly tell you if you were where I could talk to you. If I;m clear off the beam please tell me. I'm glad you write plainly to me how you feel. I'd feel bad if you put up only a good picture to me when you were having tough or miserable things. It's no good if you can't feel you have a wife strong enough to face any reality that can't be altered. And I know you tell me first both the mean and the good and I rejoice in that sharing with you and in you having that much confidence in me. And so I wan tot avoid all other people being sure of stuff they don't know about. I suppose my not liking his report may boil down to self pride in which I don't want us to show anything but the good, yet I don't think thats the true or fair evaluation of my thoughts on the subject. I don't wan to be cocky and feel I'm any all-sufficient person
