Saving...
2 things that have come to me since I've been your Mrs. Davis. The bad feelings or hurts were never intentional and were the result of lack of understand or insight into motives or feelings as well as probably too much sensitiveness. I would take a guess that you might be able to say the above equally truthfully. But those things are small compared to the joy and happiness of being your wife. The self expression and deepening, lasting satisfactions of a good companionship in marriage completely overshadow the lesser trials and troubles. I almost hate to try to write of these big things for they defy good expression and I don't want to be like a cheap literature book. We have so many good talks together and have shared these views before. No matter how life is lived, if it is done well there are griefs and joys. And a shared life with a mate who loves is the kind that makes sorrows the easiest and joys the biggest. Getting married puts more responsibility on both the fellow and the girl. But it makes the lives of each richer and more joyful if the marriage was undertaken soberly
