2 If all goes well, I'm planning on a supper Sunday for Hazel and Earl and Emilie and Ray. I'd like to wait until you are here but decided to do it now while the new family is new. Then when you come home I'll have them all again with you at the head of the table and our new linen in use. I'm just using the old for this occasion. I can't save the dishes to initiate with you as I don't have enough of the others to set the table but I'll save the new linens and no one will be happier than you and I when we can be at opposite ends of our own table in our own home. I hope you think my plans are good. The letter you wrote Christmas Day came last delivery yesterday, so I got three, in all, yesterday. Then today the one you wrote Sunday came. I'm so sorry you didn't get any for five days. That is a long wait. And on all of those days I mailed one a day except for one day. The holiday mail jam mussed it up. I know then you didn't get my package of food until
