Saving...
Dearest, Lots of projects today. And lovely weather to encourage projects too. It is still cool fr May but the sunshine is wonderful. What we would call a "a pretty day". Washed two batches of clothes before going to work. So you see ambition really reigned! And the best part of it is that I did lots at the office today and I still feel like going well. I didn't get any mail yet and it is three weeks now. But from your last letter I gathered you had to wait lots longer than that. And it is harder for you to wait when you have to be in a strange place. I think of that whenever I catch myself almost feeling sorrow for myself! I would like mail, but I'm not feeling bad because I know you'll write every chance you get. If silence could possibly mean trouble between us that would be awful. But it can never, will never mean that. So what more can I ever want that the complete love you give me! (My crossing out of the errors.) I ask for nothing honey but to be yours and have you to love. Then when you can be home again we will go on building our home. Lots of our flowers are out already. The lawn is in pretty good shape. Mr. Fisher is helping me on some of the flowers. I'll be in the place you fixed. Love, Laura :)
