Cedar Rapids IA July-11-1943 Dear Lloyd Sunday A.M. cool & cloudy for a change sure is welcome after two weeks of hot weather. The news sounds as though you boys are doing your stuff over there keep it up. Maby they will give me a chance to come over and help you by & by. Leona and I were over to Lauras house last evening helping her fix the kitchen table. Your house sure looks nice since the redecorating is all done. I have received two letters from over there, sure glad to hear from you boys. We are haveing a army show at the colaseum this week. Showing all of the equipment that is used by the army & navy. Also local Mfg's displays. Gerald B. my nephew is getting to be quite a soldier by now, he is at Camp Roberts Calif. he has been in two no. Harry Jr. is still in D.C. Well old boy I am running out of new, so will sign off and get ready for church. I will be expecting a letter from you. hoping you are O.K. Your cousin Jack
