If the worst happens I'll try to come home I think they will let me off. It would take some time to come home depending on transportation I may fly part of the way if I could make time. I have about $40. now I got paid today got $37. I don't know how they got it doped out. some boys got from $20 to $60. some not paid at all. everything is mixed that is natural for the army. The Red Cross will help down here they say they are good we have a good Captain he has an uncle in C. R. Don't put U. S. Army after my name, leave off the 37420240 it is not necessary
