Sun nite [9-7-42] Dearest:- Got here at 3:30 today had a good trip all the way had air conditioned cars all the way. It rained most of the time time this afternoon while the train went thru the mountains. The sympathy card got here before I did they had it posted on the bulletin board it went over big the fellows gave something every one they wanted to know how it looked. I didn't go to red cross this evening I dont know wheather they are open on Sunday or not I try to get up there tomorrow I was pretty tired I washed & shaved & took a little sleep they had a good meal for Sunday evening. It has just started to rain again looks like it may rain all nite there wasn't much change around here while I was gone
