Kress, Texas Nov. 21 -'42 Dear Frances; Am writing you specifically for information, + if you are still there + recieve this please answer promptly. It's about Maurice. Do you know his address? I don't like to bother Mama, + and the only address I have is where he was at first. Of course he isn't there now + perhaps you have some late information. Though if he was still in this country I'd send him some sort of Xmas box. Course I know there isn't much that is acceptable, but just a box to open - + a Xmas card. Don't know how he is about letters, but suppose they are acceptable even tho' he doesn't answer. And he might sometime - tho' I wrote him at Ames last summer + he never did answer suppose he rec'd it, as had my return address, something of the sort? A neighbor ofrend sent her brother a box of cookies + they wouldn't let him have them. Guess the officers ate them! How are you getting alng + have you heard anything from Lloyd? Is he still at Camp Meade?
