Saving...
Mead where I couldn't live, the prospect of foreign service. In none of those things did you ever do anything but give me a view so I could be tough. I want you to feel I'm there helping you even a little as much as you are here helping me. I don't want this to be any mushy letter; but I do want to express a little of things we would if you were here. I'm in my place every night as you fixed it for me. And because of you, it is a good place. Tell me if I write things that hurt, as I don't want to repeat any hurts. I hope I always help my laddie. Tell me laddie how I can best help you in the situation you have to be in now. To my husband, who has always made me happy, Love, Laura (P.S. I always forget my health report! I feel fine and haven't been sick once.)
