window tending. Red looks after the car pretty faithfully. He says he wants it in good shape for you. Leone told me he bragged me up to Julian and said he'd do anything for us. Two of Red's boys are in the service now and the oldest one goes this month. I've been our to Georges two or three times. The baby is growing. Bill and Edna are there lots of the time. We are pleasant but stuff isn't a pleasure at all to me. There has never been any more foolishness and in fact I think Rose has made a real effort to be decent. But it isn't much good anyway. I always call them when your letter comes, and they called when they got yours. My new job as Linn Childrens Worker in the Civilian Defense Office
