and a good war wife doesn't grump. So I just didn't write on some days. No matter what happens, I never feel short about anything of you. You have to stay where you don't want to be, and do things vastly different than we dreamed of when we made out home. And I am in the same sort of a fix, only I have no danger. In some ways waiting is as much work as action, but without the physical hardships. I am so grateful you are well that I get all out of patience with myself when I think of the weak moments in my thought in which I deplore the situation of trying to work and live without you here.
