Saving...
4 A C.R. man is Red Cross Field Director at the station where Don is missing. He wrote his wife, who is a friend of Mrs King, that Don got five Jap planes and was last seen in a dog-fight with three other Jap numbers. That sounds bad as far as Don every showing up OK again. That is a cost of war we can get driven home to us, even if we are the arm-chair experts at home in ease. I am well. And occupied. When you are back I will then be happy and satisfied. Now I am busy trying to be your good war-war across a lot of miles. We are fortunate to have received all the good things we have. I love my husband. Goodnight, laddie. Love, Laura
