#2 (Lucky here) I am more tired than I ever been driving. It was by far the worst day I was ever on the road there was a strong N. W. wind all the time and snow that the wind picked of the ground you could not see at all, several times I wished I hadn't started the trip I was afraid we would not get here before dark but we did. I had to go slow down in Iowa for about half the way there were snow & ice on the pave ment on this end the paving was clean just blowing snow I drove pretty fast the last 70 miles. I had to or it would have been dark the wind is still blowing real cold too. This is a good hotel & I was lucky to find warm storage for the car. I would like so much for you to be along, mother wishes it too,
