set January 1 as a definite date for fear we would have to postpone it. As it was, I was barely able to get to C. R. Wednesday afternoon and you are well aware of the bad storm on Thursday. Lloyd Davis is my husband's name. We were going to have his only brother and wife be our attendants and it stormed so hard they couldn't get out. So at 2 o'clock in the afternoon we changed plans and got another couple. We were married at Mr. Hodgson's home, (I had him as Bible teacher at Coe), at 4:15. It was a single ring ceremony. My dress was a powder blue gabardine, two piece dressmaker suit effect. You could guess I would have blue! Hat & shoes were black. Lloyd has been trying since before Christmas to get some pictures finished, but we won't have any to send you for another week as the photographer is pokey. You can see then what the new family member looks like. Needless to say, I think swell. He works for Linn Co Road Dept and our home will be there. However, I have to continue for a time here because there is no replacement made yet and we do not want the
