Saving...
155 Highland Ave Detroit, Michigan February 1, 1942 Dear Laura: Just a short letter before I retire tonight or I won't get a line off to you this week either. Have planned especially to write you ever since Christmas, but --- Suppose you know I was home then, as were Ida and Sue. My time was very short, but I didn't want to let the winter get underway without going home. Your box came while I was there. Many thanks for the pin. It was very pretty, but didn't fit in with anything I had, so I gave it to Sue. She dais that she could make good use of it. I had a good visit with Ida, and was glad to see her again because it isn't often she is hoe when I am. I see Sue much more frequently. Haven't heard from Mother since I was there, and I hope she is keeping well. I thought she was quite well then, but she complained because we girls were doing all the work!! Of course if she is able she should keep doing something, I know that.
