3725 Pillsbury Ave Minneapolis 8 Minn. Juny 28, 1945. Dear Laura - Thought I would call you before we left C.R. but things began to happen thick + fast - we had a call Thursday saying the van would be there to load Friday - we had expected to have a couple of days more - loaded Friday + we left Saturday at 10:30 A.M + arrived here at 7:30 - not a bad time at all. Highways in Minn. were not as clean as in but not bad. (Think I'd better quit trying to listen to the folks talk while I'm writing)
