Saving...
2 to stay with Cora & Oscar until they come for her, it will be a week or more they thought as the Hosp. is full. Cora is better at present but [exped?] to have a gall bladder operation. None of us are any good. I am quite weak and my finders & feet trouble me a good deal it is hard to write and worse to read. I got to Dr. office for a shot every two weeks, they help to keep me on my feet I have not had to stay in bed but can do only a little work. Dad & Tom are doing the seeding. I start the meals do what I can & Tom does the rest. He doesn't have time to do any housecleaning and there is noone wants to do housework anyway at it is so dull if someone came they would not stay so it just goes, when it gets too bad Tom takes a whirl at it. We just have to live a day at a time & pray for strength. I was surprised to hear you had chicken pox you have been among children so much, it is a mean sickness but I guess you are about thru I fear you cant read this & my fingers are so stiff I will close. I was glad to hear Lloyd was well. Do you think he can come home when we get done with the Germans? I hope it wont be long. I will try to write again. Much love to you & Lloyd. From, -Mother-
