1847 Wilson Ave. S.W. July 10, 1945 Dear Laura, For the many things you did for my little family while I was on a strike, I thank you most sincerely. The cake, ironing, dish washing, and bringing them over, and icecream you so thoughtfully got for Marlene, the card you sent to me, and your coming to see me were all appreciated very much. I consider myself a very lucky person to have so many grand friends. I'm getting along very nicely, altho weak of course, but not near like I've been other times. The Lord is certainly undertaking for me this time thanks to all the sincere prayers that have been going up for me. Thanking you again Laura, Sincerely, Irene
