6 enough out here to stay or not. I think I would like it much better in Frisco - the people are nicer, not so independent, not so many chiselers, less artificiality up there. Furthermore it is the cultural centre. If I were up there I could go to the main branch of U.C. at Berkeley - the price is the same. So I don't know what the dope is - I will have to wait & see. Bob (Matthews) won a scholarship to the U. of Southern California so I guess he will go there. He went up to a lake in the High Sierras over the week-end, should be back today. I could have gone if I hadn't been working, but I didn't particularly care to anyway. I haven't seen U.S.C. yet - I
