sauce is an appropriate topping. Custard fillings call for a simple frosting or a sprinkle or powdered sugar. For appetizers or dainty afternoon tea "sandwiches" make very small cream puffs and bake only about 25 minutes. These may be filled with highly seasoned cheese mixtures, devilled ham or tongue or with a sweet-jam, jelly or marmalade. To fill, make a slit in the side with a pointed knife and insert filling with a spoon; or an easier method - if the mixture is a smooth one - is to put filling in a pastry bag or gun insert tube end inside of cream puff and press
