has to lick Uncle Sam to get there. My patriotism doesn't carry me that far. I'm giving up my hubby gladly and proudly, to help win this war, but not for seven years of Red Tape after it. See what an old hen you've married? Man, you won't dare call your soul your own. It's a fearful thing -- this being married - and the worst of it is, I like it. You're going to be so ashamed of me, I'm not studying French, and I've not read a thing in ages. Even Gerard's two books have not come my way yet.
