fear is that I can't get a piano tuner here in time. There is one bum note right in the middle of the piano. I think the hammer is broken. (If it isn't, it should be.) It occurs in every one of our songs so often that it's really necessary to keep my lowing herd from winding slowly off the key. Mama just came in here and said I was to send her love. She always says that, and in case I forget it in telling you of my own, you must remember it is always included. Every time I write a letter she says, " Be sure to give him my love," thinking of course the letter must be for you. It will be a wonder if I don't sometimes send Mama's love to Theo. Presser. I wish you might here the bunch sing a couple of new ones. Honey, I've not had any of them printed. Some how I lose my nerve when some one isn't pushing me. I know they are as good as the things people are raving about today, and everyone is singing
