I contented myself with patting your shoulder or squeezing your hand when I wanted to gather you in my arms and kiss you over and over. I, too, was afraid that I might burn you up with too much loving and make you tired. I'll not challenge your statement that I love in a few far more restrained manner than you are capable of, but I may sometime ask you whether you still believe it after you have had a chance to love and be loved to hearts' content for both of us. Restraint or no restraint, sweetheart, I've a powerful lot of love that is yours forever. You are a nice girl to say that you don't wish any more to conceal emotions from me.
