Clark and the Mitchell House well. We swapped yarns about Nevaddy to our common benefit. At the town that is division headquarters we went through the formalities of registering our presence, found another correspondent we were to pick up, and went to lunch at the hotel. Afterward, I had two or three hours to kill while the correspondents were paying a call on an outfit nearby. So I determined to go out to the trenches and pay my respects to the 'fightin' sons-of-guns' from my home state. The directions given me as to the route turned out to be wrong.
