and received the startling information that our main center is to be here now, and I am to stay. Heavens! I brought with me my toilet case and a pair of pajamas! But I'll solve that problem somehow. Oh, but it's luxury to be in a real hotel room with electric lights overhead! And I have a most attractive bath room. Shall I start the water for you now? When you've finished I'll take a soaker myself and then to bed, for I am going out at 8 a.m. (curses!) - in the morning - with another excursion to the battle. Honey, I want you with me tonight - want you more than any time since I've been in France. I love you, and I send you the only kisses I have to give to anyone. Forever, Conger.
