tough because nothing seems to hurt me except the "chiggers". (Business of knocking on wood.) They are very much disappointed because I am able to navigate this morning after so much horseback riding yesterday. I was supposed to be all in last night, but I felt spry as ever so I rode with Lillian after the "caows". This morning they watched for me to come down stairs on my hands, but praises be, I arrived "a little warm but not at all astonished". Today Lillian and I are going in to town on the horses while the rest of them drive. I wish you might hear these people talk. It sho is funny. At breakfast Mrs. B. reads a psalm and then Mr. prays and we all join in on the chorus with the Lord's prayer. They do it so
