K.C. - June 14th '18. Dearest,- You are not really wedded to a she-drummer. I've just nachely been following at Mama's heels while she visits her friends. Today we have spent with Miss Smith (surely you've heard the name before - about the same time you heard of the Saturday night bath). Mama and Mathilde lived with Miss Smith the while they were studying here last summer. You remember I spent last summer with you (Tee! Hee!) Miss Smith is a very sweet maiden lady with a quiet voice and pep registering sixty below zero. I am easily bored so I really shouldn't say anything, but down deep in my heart I feel that it is a hard hearted parent who made me give up visiting Elizabeth & Ted and paw around hot old K.C. instead.
