Sixty-seven. May 1, 1918 Daphne, honey,- While I am waiting for the dauntless war correspondents to arrive with the day's reports I'll start a letter to my wife. I don't know what it's going to be about. It is so long since I've heard from you that I have nothing to quarrel with you about any more. If I rec'lect correctly this is the twelfth day since anything came. And twelve days without nothing from friend wife are a long long time. In this view I am supported by Lieutenants Bristol and Delaney.They are war brides, too, and they too have heard nothing for ages. Do you remember when the three days it took to get a letter from Nevada
