Lordy, that Miss Proctor must a bird. Don't fear that your brother-in-law is anything like her. He's a fat good-natured old chub. You'll like him. Juliet writes me that she likes the plan I suggested for staging your triumphal entry into the family circle. So it will probably be arranged to have dad and mother at Cedar Rapids when you come there. For everybody that will be most agreeable. You'll be saved from having to run all over Iowa to see all of them and particularly from having to spend any of your vacation in a small town that is no summer resort and has not the slightest interest for anyone who doesn't know it.
