have than all else in the world - proximity to my wonderful wife. It's all right; I don't begrudge the sacrifice to the cause of country. But nothing else will ever get me to do it again. And I hope the second anniversary will see my wife held firmly in her husbands arms - if the victory has been won. You are continually in my thoughts, dearest. I love you pow'f'ly much. Today I have been up to the front again. I saw Zim a few minutes, and used his glasses to watch our shells bursting on a hillside where I hope they killed a lot of Boches. It was a pretty day, though
