asylum and left word that he'd be back by noon, but Mrs Reynolds "got him on the phone" and invited him back immediately. He came, but it is almost half an hour's ride, so while I was waiting I went to Ballagh's and asked Lee Lewis to give me some dope. The big chump gave me morphine. I found it out in less than fifteen minutes. So I went over to Smith's Calf and drank two cups of black coffee - you know how I like coffee - just so I could keep up.
