if my mean old hub would have let me live with them, but he's so stingey about this war. You'd think it belonged entirely to him. I am very tired. It is midnight and we are working day and night. I shall be relieved when it is at an end, tho I shall miss it, I suppose. I am going to Arkansas from here, and I'll send you the address so you can begin to write me there. I shall leave here the first week in June. I love you in spite of your red hair and freckles, and regardless of the fact that you call me Wiffle. Send you smore pictures right soon.
