Ruby's with Heiserer. I am not surprised to hear that he had got his name into the medical records in a way that is disgusting. With one look at him I estimated him as being that sort, and wanted to ask you why you allowed Ruby to have anything to do with him but didn't because I thought I knew too little about him to set up my snap judgment as right. It is thoroughly disillusioning to have to know some things but a lot better to know them than to be too innocent and trusting. Ruby needs a little cold knowledge and common sense pounded into her head. But I wonder if she would pay any attention to it if she had it.
