sleep because girls were leaving at all hours for the trains. Besides Ruby cried down my neck most of the time. Do I sound hard hearted, dear? I'm not, really, but you know I don't approve of tears - as a rule. I'll try to write again tomorrow, and you must excuse these uninteresting letters until I have half a chance.
