believe I made it. The picture of Pocahontas was more natural, and brought back to me very vividly the morning dear in my memory when I saw you robed in your becoming Indian togs. Do have another taken with your hair down and the "mocs" on. I was glad, too, to be allowed to read the letter from Lillian. She is evidently a lovely girl, whether you wished me to return it I don't know, but I'll do so to be on the safe side. It is interesting to read what you wrote on the Fourth and to recall what I wrote the same day. Evidently your weather was not far unlike ours (halp!). My imagining that you were broiling in fierce July heat was wasted concern. And, oddly enough, you too recalled the events of a year before and wondered at the things time had brought to pass.
