lost all your right to be your own boss by getting a husband. I'm not so sure that Cedar Rapids affords much choice in nice little apartments, but I think you'll find some sort of quarters that will be agreeable, particularly after living at Cottey. You'll at least have some seclusion and peace. Since the concert field is not open to you this season, I can say that I am rather glad that you're not going into it. (It's not because I had any concern that you might learn to smoke cigarettes if you went on tour.) You would have to do a great deal of work in preparation at a time when a good rest wouldn't hurt you a bit. And that banging around from one tank town to another would be pretty rough on anyone who dislikes one-horse trains
