to camp and if we can ever make a canoe trip in those rivers, it will be a beauty. Of course it wouldn't be exciting like the trips up north, but neither would there be the ungodly portages. I'm suttinly glad to hear that we can send packages across now, but I'm a bit uneasy as to the fate of the sweater I sent you from Arkansas. I don't see why they'd not return it, if they wouldn't send it across because lan' sake! I had my return address writ in the corner in my very best writing - and that's pretty swell. I've been reading some of Ring Lardner's stuff about "You know me, Al." Some of it is rather clever, I think. At any rate,
