a room and breakfast. Julie knows of a nice one who ___ x x x Mrs. Vawter came to take us for a drive, and after about two hours of driving she left us at Martha's, where we were invited for dinner. That woman sho' can cook, and so can Julie. Cousin Mary Dare must be a peach if she can beat your sisters. I suppose I shall soon decide for myself, because both she and Aunt Sally are continually asking when I'll come. I think I'll go with Julie some time soon. She wants to go, and it would be much nicer to have her along. Cedar Rapids is such a beautiful little city, I think. The homes are all real homes. I've not seen any real "barns: among them, tho I've seen a few, among the old timers, like the red brick fire barn I lived
