the past three or four days, all I need to say is Working like- I remember hearing some one say "Work like Helen B. Happy," but ah doan know, boss. I've done worked like Helen I doan see how I kin be spected to be wildly joyous when mah hands are all blistered and mah back broke. You never did see such a dirty place in your blizzardly life as our new (?) house was. They said it had been cleaned, but bles your heart child, it must have been a sort of dry clean. I got a Bohunk woman and thought I'd take ife easy while she did the work, but I found it kept me on the jump shooing that old woman around the house, to say nothing of
