suggest that the cable be sent you. We all talked about it and wanted to send one from the whole clan while Mother was with us, so we chose that day of days for the deed. We'd all been together that day, and talked of you and missed you, and longed for you to be with us. Ernest went down and sent the cable himself. Only last night we were discussing that very thing at supper, & Ernest tried to remember exactly what he'd said & couldn't.
