ware that _we'll_ need in our house, & she is sending a cedar chest full of things besides. The Lord only knows what. She & Emil are both quite young. Maude was the baby girl, & she's cute as a bug's ear. I'm sorry there has not been a good picture of her. You think perhaps the kodac pictures flatter me. Let me inform you I was never weller in my life. Absolutely poifect health, my dear. Must be weighed again. Julie and I were weighed the other day, and I weighed 130 and she 129, so we are neither one about to fade away. Since I wrote my piteous letter yesterday, I've reflected a bit, and it seems so silly that you should even remember that fat old priest. Husbands
