Now it is afternoon of the next day and I am keeping company with the telephone. Reports are coming slowly this time, but they are altogether satisfactory. We had advanced four or five kilometers by noon. I was going to say last night that it was another anniversary night. Three-fourths of a year gone! And most of it I have been husband in absentia.
