money by doing so. We had Dooley over for lunch and I made chop suey. It was pretty good, for the first time, but oh boy! When I think of having to cook for you I'm scared green. You'll have to show me ever so much, I know. Well -- after lunch your last four letters came, and oh what a load off my mind. You really do love me still, and you are not going to divorce me after all! It was a very good hubby who decided to send his paycheck to his wife, and she'll take as good care as possible not to lose it. But oh my! the way prices of everything are sailing skyward, she'll probably lose it in time. It's lots of fun learning to save. I'm not doing so badly at it, Mama says, considering what an ungodly time we're living in. I think I'm going to die a terrible death, tho, if I don't break
