moved to the end of the sidewalk and began to stare at the top of the P.O. Gradually people gathered around us to see what we were looking at, and when they discovered the trick they joined in to help fool the next bunch. A simple thing to do, but we had lots of fun out of it, and it was fun to see how the people had relaxed and let loose, and were acting like kids. It was like a tonic. By the way, our cat is sick. I'm afraid he's found some poison somewhere about the place, tho I've not been able to discover it myself. I called a Vet tonight and asked his advice, and the poor cat has had to take castor oil. Previous to talking to the Vet, I'd given the poor baby olive oil and warm milk, but he's so slow to improve that I've been naturally worried. If that cat has to die there'll be a mighty sorrowful Wiffles in the house. Oh, honey, I found I could exchange my Pyrex plate so I did it, and now I've broken the new one. I think they
